Terms and conditions.
These terms apply to every agreement between Warre Pieters, sole proprietorship, trading as Hunch ("Hunch", "we"), Eisenhowerlaan 45, 2820 Bonheiden, België, company number 1044.738.597, and a client. Hunch works exclusively for businesses. Consumers cannot use the service.
Anyone who orders a plan, accepts a proposal, creates an account or uses the dashboard accepts these terms.

1. Definitions
- Service: tracking the Belgian market for public signals and delivering, through a dashboard, businesses that may have a reason to buy from the client at that moment, together with all related features, such as campaigns, Intel, Radar, Your market, integrations, exports and whatever Hunch adds later.
- Client: the business that enters into an agreement with Hunch, and the people it gives access to.
- Campaign: the client’s description of what it sells and to whom. For each campaign, Hunch builds a model that tracks and ranks businesses.
- Intel: businesses for which Hunch found a substantiated reason, with an explanation and a business contact. Where Hunch finds too few such businesses within a campaign, Intel is supplemented with businesses that match the campaign but show no signal; these come with business contact details only, without an explanation or contact person, and cost fewer credits. Radar: businesses showing a signal chosen by the client within a campaign’s preferences, bought in batches, each with business contact details and, where Hunch finds one, a contact person, but without a substantiated reason.
- Credits: the balance the client uses to unlock businesses, follow businesses and use other features that Hunch charges in credits.
- Plan: Basis, Plus, Partner or Custom, with the monthly credit balance, the number of active campaigns and the number of users that come with it, as stated on the website or in the quote.
- Client data: everything the client supplies, enters or connects itself, such as its answers during onboarding, its campaigns, its exclusion list, its choices, notes and follow-up on leads, its settings and data from integrations.
- Usage data: data about how the service is used, such as which features, pages and integrations are used, how often and with what result.
2. Application
These terms form part of every quote, order and agreement, together with the data processing agreement and the privacy policy. They take precedence over the client’s own terms, even where those state otherwise, unless Hunch agrees otherwise in writing. Deviations apply only if agreed in writing. An email is sufficient. In the event of a conflict, a written deviation prevails over these terms, and these terms prevail over the website.
3. Formation of the agreement
The agreement is formed when the client orders a plan through the website or the dashboard, accepts a quote or a proposal by email, or continues to use the service after a trial period once Hunch has confirmed the plan and the price.
Prices and descriptions on the website are indicative and may change. What applies is what is stated in the order or in Hunch’s confirmation. Hunch may refuse an order, a request or an account without giving a reason.
4. The service
At the start, the client describes its business and sets up one or more campaigns. For each campaign, Hunch builds a model and shows businesses in Intel and Radar on the dashboard. The client uses credits to unlock the Intel businesses it wants to approach and buys Radar businesses in batches; only then does it see the name and the contact details. Its choices and adjustments are used to refine that client’s model. How many campaigns can be active at the same time depends on the plan.
Hunch undertakes a best-efforts obligation. Leads and all other information in the service are based on public sources, on data from suppliers and on an estimate of likelihood. Hunch does not guarantee that a business, a contact or a figure is accurate, complete or up to date, that a business is interested, or any number of Intel leads, conversations, quotes, clients or revenue. Hunch shows for every lead how strong the reason is and may also show businesses with a weaker reason. A plan’s credit balance is not a promise about the number of usable leads.
Your market shows information about the client’s sector and about businesses the client itself chooses to follow, based on public sources and for information only. It is not advice and Hunch does not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
The service is provided as is and as available. Hunch may at any time adapt, extend or restrict how it works, its sources, suppliers, the dashboard and the features, as long as the core of the chosen plan is preserved. Features marked as "coming soon", as a trial or as a test are not part of Hunch’s commitments. Hunch does not provide legal, tax or commercial advice; the client decides for itself what it does with the information.
5. Trial periods, discounts and special arrangements
Every trial period, free period, discount, promotion, free credit, adjusted price or other more favourable term that Hunch grants a client, for whatever reason and in whatever form, is temporary and applies only to the period and scope Hunch stated with it. It gives no right to the same or a similar term afterwards, on renewal, for another plan or for another client. After that period, the regular plan and price confirmed by Hunch apply, unless the client cancels before the end of the period.
More favourable terms are not transferable, are not paid out in money and cannot be combined, unless Hunch expressly allows it. Hunch may end them for the future; for a current, expressly agreed period they continue to apply.
If a free trial period has been agreed, the client may use the service during that period without any obligation to take a plan afterwards. These terms also apply during the trial, with the exception of the payment provisions. Hunch may limit the balance and the features during a trial and end the trial early.
6. Credits
The plan’s monthly balance becomes available at the start of each month. What the client does not use in a month carries over for one month and then expires; the balance from the plan can never exceed twice the monthly balance. Additional credits purchased remain valid for ninety days. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, are not transferable and expire at the end of the agreement without compensation. What a feature costs in credits is shown in the service; Hunch may adjust this for the future.
A Radar batch is charged when it is ordered. Hunch looks up the contact details after the order and only delivers businesses with usable business contact details. If it delivers fewer than ordered, the client gets back the difference with the price of what was delivered; if nothing has been delivered after forty-eight hours, it gets all its credits back.
If an unlocked business turns out to have no usable business email address or phone number, the client may request its credits back within thirty days, once per business. The credits are returned immediately; Hunch checks the report afterwards and may restrict refunds for a client that repeatedly makes unfounded reports. If the business has closed down, Hunch checks this first. No refund is given because a business turns out to be of little interest, does not respond or does not buy, or because the client already knew it. A return of credits is the sole remedy for a lead that does not meet expectations.
Following a business in Your market costs one credit per business per month, charged when following starts and at the start of each month. Stopping does not return any credits.
7. Prices and invoicing
All prices are in euro and exclude VAT. A monthly plan is invoiced monthly in advance, an annual plan annually in advance. For Custom, the set-up fee (twice the agreed monthly amount unless the quote states otherwise) is invoiced at the start and is non-refundable once set-up has begun; the cost of sources Hunch engages for the client is passed on as set out in the quote. Additional credits are invoiced on ordering. Invoices are sent electronically.
An upgrade to a larger plan takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata for the current period. A downgrade to a smaller plan takes effect from the next period.
Hunch may adjust its prices with at least thirty days’ prior notice by email. The client may then cancel with effect from the date the new price applies. For a running annual plan, the new price applies only on renewal.
Invoices are payable within fourteen days of the invoice date, unless the invoice states otherwise. The client may not withhold amounts or set them off against a claim on Hunch. In the event of late payment, interest and the fixed compensation for recovery costs under the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions are due by operation of law and without notice of default. If an invoice remains unpaid after a reminder, Hunch may suspend access until payment; the balance continues to run in the meantime and the fee remains due.
An invoice that is not disputed in writing, with reasons, within fifteen days of receipt is deemed accepted.
8. Term and cancellation
A monthly plan runs per month and is tacitly renewed month by month. The client may cancel at any time by email or through the dashboard; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month.
An annual plan runs for twelve months and is tacitly renewed for a further twelve months unless either party cancels no later than thirty days before the end. A client who ends an annual plan early remains liable for the full annual amount. A Custom plan runs as stated in the quote, otherwise per month.
Amounts already paid are not refunded. Hunch may terminate the agreement with thirty days’ notice; amounts prepaid for the period after the end are then refunded pro rata. In the event of a serious breach by the client, such as misuse of the service, of leads or of contact details, non-compliance with Article 9 or 10 or repeated late payment, Hunch may terminate the agreement immediately after a notice of default that has gone unanswered for eight days, or immediately without notice if the misuse cannot be remedied, without refund and without prejudice to damages.
When the agreement ends, access to the dashboard ends, integrations and keys are disabled and any remaining balance expires. The client may continue to use the businesses it unlocked before and the exports it made, within the limits of Article 10.
9. Obligations of the client and permitted use
- The client provides accurate and complete information during onboarding and for each campaign, keeps its contact details up to date, and supplies only data (such as an exclusion list or data from an integration) that it is entitled to use and share.
- The client keeps access to its dashboard personal and confidential. Each user has their own account; the number of users depends on the plan. The client is responsible for everything done with its accounts, integrations and access keys, including by third parties, and reports loss or misuse immediately.
- The client uses the service as a business normally uses it for its own prospecting and market knowledge. It does not extract the service or the data in an automated, systematic or bulk way, including through an integration, does not circumvent technical restrictions and does not disrupt operation. Hunch may apply reasonable usage and rate limits and may slow down or block use that goes well beyond them.
- The client does not copy, reverse engineer or replicate the service, the models or Hunch’s business information, does not use them to build a comparable database or service, and does not pass the content on to third parties outside its business.
- The client does not use the service for unlawful purposes, to harm, mislead or harass people, or in breach of the rights of third parties.
10. Use of leads and personal data
Once it unlocks a business, the client becomes an independent controller for the contact details received. The client undertakes to:
- use leads and contact details solely for its own business prospecting and market knowledge, and not to sell, rent out, pass on or publish them;
- comply with the General Data Protection Regulation and, for electronic marketing, Book XII of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (in particular Article XII.13) and the Royal Decree of 4 April 2003 on advertising by electronic mail;
- state in a first message to a contact where the data came from and how they can object;
- honour every objection immediately and report it to Hunch within five working days, so that the person is also removed at Hunch;
- not use contact details for purposes a data subject cannot reasonably expect.
The client alone decides whether, how and when it contacts a business or a person. Hunch gives no legal advice on this and is not responsible for the messages the client sends, even where it uses a draft from Hunch.
The client fully indemnifies Hunch against third-party claims, fines, penalties and costs (including costs of defence) arising from its use of the service, leads, information or contact details, from the data it supplies or from a breach of these terms.
For the client data that Hunch processes on the client’s behalf, Hunch acts as a processor. The data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms, applies. How Hunch itself handles personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
11. Integrations with third-party services
The client may connect the service to third-party services, such as a CRM, its mailbox or an AI assistant. Such an integration uses the client’s own account and own terms with that third party. The client is responsible for what it does through an integration, for the data it shares that way and for the keys it creates for it; it can stop an integration or a key itself at any time.
Hunch has no control over third-party services, does not guarantee that an integration keeps working if that third party changes how it operates, and may pause or stop an integration where the security or operation of the service requires it.
12. Intellectual property and data
All rights in the service, the models, the software, the dashboard, the business information, the signals, the selections, the explanations, the figures and the texts remain with Hunch or its licensors. The client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use what the service delivers to it, for its own internal use, for the duration of the agreement and, afterwards, for the businesses it unlocked.
Client data remains the property of the client. The client grants Hunch the right to use client data and usage data to deliver, secure and support the service for the client, and to improve the service, the models and the business information for all clients, including by tuning models to what works in practice. Whatever results from that improvement can never be traced back to the client, to its customers or to individuals and never shows client data to other clients. Information about businesses that is not personal data and that Hunch learns through the service may be used by Hunch to improve its business information and signals, without disclosing the link with the client.
Hunch may derive aggregated and anonymised insights and figures from the service and publish them, for example about the Belgian market or about which kinds of signals generally work well. Hunch may freely use the client’s suggestions, comments and feedback about the service, without compensation or attribution. These rights survive the end of the agreement for whatever cannot be traced back.
13. Reference and communication
Hunch may mention the client’s name and logo as a reference, on the website and in commercial material, without details of the collaboration. The client may refuse or withdraw this at any time by email to warre@hunchleads.com; Hunch then removes the mention within a reasonable time. A fuller testimonial or case study is published only with the client’s agreement.
Hunch may contact the client and its users about the operation of the service, updates, security and invoicing, and about new features and offers from Hunch. Each user may unsubscribe from commercial messages at any time; messages needed for the service continue.
14. Confidentiality
Both parties keep confidential information received from each other secret and use it only for the agreement, including for two years after it ends. This does not apply to information that was already public, that a party already knew or developed independently, or that a party is legally required to disclose. The prices and terms Hunch grants the client are confidential.
15. Liability
Hunch is liable only for damage resulting directly from a breach by Hunch in performing the agreement. Hunch is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as loss of profit, missed opportunities, loss of clients or revenue, reputational damage, loss or corruption of data or replacement costs, nor for inaccuracies or gaps in public sources or at suppliers, nor for third-party services or integrations with them, nor for the use the client makes of the service, the leads, the information or the contact details, nor for decisions the client takes on that basis, nor for damage caused by an act or omission of the client or its users.
Hunch’s total liability, on whatever grounds and for all claims together, is limited to the amounts the client paid for the service in the three months preceding the event that caused the damage.
Any claim against Hunch must, on pain of forfeiture, be brought within one year after the client became aware, or should have become aware, of the event causing the damage. The client reports a shortcoming within a reasonable time so that Hunch can remedy it; remedy is the first recourse.
These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, and do not apply in the case of fraud or wilful misconduct by Hunch.
16. Availability, discontinuation and force majeure
Hunch does what is reasonable to keep the dashboard available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or any fixed level of availability. Maintenance, updates and outages at suppliers may temporarily interrupt the service; Hunch announces planned maintenance in advance where possible. Hunch may discontinue a feature or the entire service with thirty days’ notice; amounts prepaid for the period afterwards are refunded pro rata, which is the sole compensation.
Neither party is liable for a failure caused by force majeure, such as an outage at a hosting partner, a data source or a software supplier, a cyberattack, a change in access to or the terms of public sources or suppliers, or a government measure. If the force majeure lasts longer than sixty days, either party may terminate the agreement without compensation.
17. Changes to these terms
Hunch may change these terms. Changes are communicated at least thirty days in advance by email or on the dashboard. If the client does not agree, it may cancel with effect from the date the change takes effect. Anyone who continues to use the service afterwards accepts the changed terms. Changes required by law or that are solely in the client’s favour take effect immediately.
18. Evidence and notices
Hunch’s records (such as logs, order data, the use of credits and the timestamps of actions on the dashboard) serve as evidence of what happened, unless proven otherwise. Electronic messages and acceptances (email, a click on the dashboard) have the same evidential value as a signed document.
Notices are given by email: to Hunch at warre@hunchleads.com, to the client at the address of its administrator in the dashboard. A message is deemed received on the working day after it is sent.
19. Final provisions
These terms, the order or quote, the data processing agreement and the privacy policy together form the entire agreement and replace all earlier arrangements on the same subject. If a provision is invalid, the other provisions remain in force and the invalid one is replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to its intent. A party’s failure or delay in exercising a right does not constitute a waiver. Headings are for readability only.
Hunch may transfer the agreement to a company that Warre Pieters sets up or controls to continue the business, or as part of a transfer of the business, and may use subcontractors for performance. The client will be informed of a transfer. The client may not transfer the agreement without Hunch’s written consent.
These terms exist in Dutch, French and English. In the event of a difference in interpretation, the Dutch text prevails.
20. Applicable law and disputes
The agreement is governed exclusively by Belgian law. The parties first seek a solution by mutual agreement. Failing that, the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, Mechelen division, have exclusive jurisdiction.
