Where our information comes from, and what we do with it.

1. Our sources

We combine a large number of publicly accessible sources, including:

• official registers and publications about Belgian businesses;
• information that businesses make public themselves;
• other public publications, such as news items and press releases;
• specialised providers of business information and contact data.

Which sources we use for which client, and how we combine them, is determined per client. This is part of our working method and we do not explain it publicly.

2. How we collect

We use only information that is publicly accessible or that we obtain lawfully from providers, respecting the terms of the source. Where possible, we record the source and the date for each signal, so that it can be verified.

3. What we deliberately do not do

• No private addresses, private telephone numbers or private email addresses.
• No sensitive data, such as health, beliefs or origin.
• No sale of databases or bulk lists.

4. How clients receive the information

A client first sees only why a business may be of interest, without names or contact details. Only once it accepts a business does it receive the business contact details. Every client is contractually required to comply with privacy legislation and the rules on electronic advertising, and to respect any objection immediately. A client’s own data, such as its client list, is kept in a separate database of its own and is never shown to other clients.

5. Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to work with accurate information, but public sources are not always accurate, complete or up to date, and we cannot guarantee this. If you see an error about your business or about yourself, please let us know; we will amend it.

6. Having your data corrected or removed
